Visual design work capturing the ecological character of Celery Bog — a nature preserve project blending scientific accuracy with approachable, visually rich graphic design that invites the public in.
How We Made It Happen

Site Research & Reference
We studied the Celery Bog habitat — its flora, fauna, and seasonal characteristics — to ensure the design felt authentic and grounded in the real environment visitors would experience.

Layout Concept
Initial layout sketches explored how to structure the visual narrative — balancing informational content with immersive imagery and natural textures that draw the reader into the ecosystem.

Color & Texture Study
A natural color palette was derived directly from reference photography of the bog — greens, browns, and muted blues that feel true to the ecosystem without sacrificing visual clarity.

Composition Refinement
The composition was refined through client feedback, tightening the balance between illustration, photography, and informational text to ensure every element earns its place.

Final Design
The finished design — ready for print and environmental installation. A piece that invites visitors to engage with and appreciate the natural world that surrounds them.
